During today’s comprehension lesson, we analysed a text about a balanced debate around the preservation of Rainforests.
We explored the definitions of words we came across that we found a little challenging.

HAIKU POEMS

In Literacy, we have been reading the book Kensuke’s Kingdom. One of our units included writing a Haiku poem! We found that Haiku poems originate from Japanese literature.
We compiled our own Haiku poems themed around Michael’s feelings towards Kensuke.
