We have our children at the centre when planning the school curriculum, we follows the revised Primary National Strategy for teaching in both literacy and maths lessons. The curriculum of the school is organised so that children are stimulated, encouraged and challenged to develop their individual potential and personality to the full.

Class teachers are responsible for the children’s welfare and delivery of the curriculum. Work is planned jointly with close liaison of the teaching staff and is supported and communicated to our teaching assistant team. During planning, staff share the preparation of work, drawing on different experiences, knowledge and expertise to ensure work is relevant and well matched to meet the needs of the children. In this way, we are able to utilise the strengths of a staff team and enhance the quality of learning and teaching.
